Dr. Jason Browdy has been practicing Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine in Saint Louis since 2004. He joined Dr. Philip George, one of the founding members of Saint Louis-Clayton Orthopedic Group, in April, 2008. In February of 2009, Dr. Browdy merged his practice with Saint Louis-Clayton Orthopedic Group and formed Advanced Orthopedics of Clayton.
Whether you are an elite athlete or a “weekend warrior”, our mission at Advanced Orthopedics is to keep you at the top of your game. We treat patients of all ages with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. But, almost all of our patients have one thing in common: Pain. Whether that pain is keeping you from earning a scholarship, or preventing you from going to the grocery store, Advanced Orthopedics is committed to making you feel better, so that you may stay active.
We think your experience with us will be unique. When you come into our office, you will notice our relaxed and comfortable environment, and our friendly staff will help make your visit pleasant.

At Advanced Orthopedics, we use powerful health information technologies to provide you with state of the art care. The recent government initiative for physicians to adopt electronic health technologies is based in part on a consensus belief that electronic health records allow for more efficient, safer and higher quality of care. While only about 1.5% of U.S. hospitals have a comprehensive electronic health record system, Advanced Orthopedics uses a highly advanced electronic medical record and a digital X-ray system. Our electronic radiographic data is backed up every night on an offsite secure server, so your data is always safe and accessible.
We are also proud that our electronic health technologies minimize our impact on the environment. Our Saint Louis Office is nearly “paperless”. When you come into our office, you will enter your personal history data directly into our computer system, minimizing paper waste. With our digital X-Ray system, there is no need to use film or developer materials. You will review your X-Rays and MRI’s with the physicians in your exam room on a computer monitor.
If you need a copy of your images, we can burn them to a CD for you to take with you. We also receive all our faxes electronically, further reducing the use of paper.
At Advanced Orthopedics we have two certified athletic trainers on our staff. A certified athletic trainer, or an ATC, is the person responsible for the well being of athletes during competition. The ATC is the “first responder” to virtually every athletic injury or condition that occurs during practice and competition. Our ATC’s have extensive experience working with high school and Division I collegiate athletes. Our staff has decades of experience handling all aspects of patient care.
Advanced Orthopedics also has a full time Physician's Assistant on staff, who has extensive experience in athletics.
At Advanced Orthopedics, we realize your time is valuable. We do the best we can to be punctual and minimize your wait to be seen. However, we cannot always anticipate the complexity of every patient’s condition. In order to provide the best possible care to every patient, we will occasionally run over the alloted amount of time for a particular appointment. If you have to wait to be seen, please keep this in mind and we will do everything we can to make your time with us comfortable.
Also, many patients come to us for second opinions. If you have already been seen by another physician, please bring all relevant information with you to your appointment. This includes: office notes, X-Rays, MRI’s, and operative reports.
